From Mona's Fiction Page:

Monica sent me a note a week or so ago, and told me she'd started a D/M series called "Domesticity". I went to her page to check it out, and wow! It was wonderful. I immediately wrote her back, begging for a sequel, and permission to link her page. Well, she's still working on the sequel part, but here's the link, so go and visit her Glorybox, and join the chorus of all of us waiting *patiently* for the next bit.[1]

Tribal Rituals

I began the Tribal Rituals series after I came home from that super-long nearly five hour Cleveland-Baltimore ALCS Game 3 in the fall of 1997. I was so excited that I popped off what I thought would be a PWP. Well, somewhere between the LCS and the World Series, this thing grew a plot. A little intrigue, some mystery, and lots of sex. Enjoy.

Tribal Rituals - NC-17 M/M 20K October 12, 1997: In the beginning..... The Tribe squeaked out a 12th inning win in Game 3 of the ACLS and I was so hyped when I got back from the game that I just had to write something. Sex and baseball galore! The story that started it all!

Tribal Rituals 2 - NC-17 M/M 22K October 13, 1997: Let's see. It's 2:00 am, the Tribe is up 3-1 in the series, and Mac and Methos decide to make some infield memories of their own. I'll admit to having started this story earlier today, before the game even started, but I have that much faith in my team. GO TRIBE! One more game and we are THERE!!

Tribal Rituals 3 - NC-17 M/M 41K October 14, 1997: This one's a bit longer and a pesky plot popped up in there, too. The Tribe's loss of Game 5 of the ALCS and some unexpected, unwelcome guests almost spoil Mac's and Methos' trip to Cleveland. The World Series is only one more game away!

Tribal Rituals 4 - R, language, sex talk 31K posted October 23, 1997 - The Tribe has lost Game 1 of the World Series and Mac and Methos have unwanted guests in the middle of the night. The plot is thickening against my will.

Tribal Rituals 5 - NC-17, m/m sex 46K posted October 26, 1997 - After Joe comes to Cleveland for the Watcher meeting, the guys try to figure out what the Watchers are up to. The Tribe wins Game 2 of the World Series and Mac and Methos celebrate.

Tribal Rituals 6 - NC-17 m/m 48K posted November 16, 1997 - Mac and Methos learn more about what ails the Watchers and make some emotional progress in their relationship on the Monday before Game 3 of the World Series.

Tribal Rituals 7 - PG-13 m/m 49K posted January 4, 1998 - When Methos disappears from Jacobs Field during Game 3 of the World Series, Mac fears that his lover has left him. But the Watchers have other ideas....

Tribal Rituals 8 - NC-17 m/m sex, language 43K posted January 6, 1998 - Methos and the Watchers inform Mac of Appleton's plans and together they try to figure out a way to stop him.

Tribal Rituals 9 - R m/m sex, sort of, language 31K posted April 21, 1998 - As Methos, MacLeod, and the Watchers prepare to take Appleton and the Immortal Hunters out with the help of a friend, while Appleton makes some plans of his own.

Tribal Rituals 10 - soft R m/m, language, minor violence 49K posted April 23, 1998 - Mac and Methos finally take care of that pesky Watcher/Immortal problem.

Tribal Rituals: Heartbreak - PG m/m 12K posted October 27, 1997 - MacLeod tries to comfort Methos after the Cleveland Indians lose the World Series.

Tribal Rituals: Falling - R m/m 44K

posted June 21, 1998 - Methos and MacLeod return to Ohio for some fun in the sun. This story requires a major SAP WARNING!! Mushy romance ahead!

The Dilation Collection

No, it is not another series. It's a collection. There's a difference. There are and will only be four stories in this section. No sequels, no prequels. Just these four. Be satisfied.

Where did these come from? Well, any of you that have been following the Glorybox and my stories know that I love music. Sometimes I think I don't move a muscle without a soundtrack! I have very eclectic taste in music ("Sista from another planet" is what one of my friends calls me). I like everything from Celtic to jazz to old school Motown to some rap to country to new age (gasp! Yes, I do have Yanni CD's but I have never partaken of John Tesh. Even I have my standards!) to folk to alternative to straight R&B to. . . . . You gettin' the picture? Anyhow, a DJ at a local alternative station told me that Ani DiFranco was good and sent me one of her CDs, Dilate. I loved it!

About the oh, say sixtieth time through the disc, I ascertained that four of the songs could, if taken in the proper context of a Duncan/Methos obsessive such as myself, tell a story. A very angsty one, but a story nonetheless. So while my computer was in the computer hospital and I was cutoff from the 'net, I sat down with my old word processor, a couple of beers and the remote for the stereo and banged out not one, not two, not three, but four stories.

I wish you could listen to the songs while you read the stories. Not that I'm telling you that you must run down to the record den and part with fifteen bucks, but the songs are inspiring. Well, they inspired me. It's a funky little album. Kind of folky. Kind of funky. Kickass beats, especially on "Shameless" and "Going Down." A very soulful rendition of "Amazing Grace" that makes you want to dance (gasp!). The lyrics resonate of truth and experience, something every single person who has been in a relationship that has hit the skids knows about. I'd have to say my favorite song is "Adam & Eve". Powerful, pain-filled lyrics, great music, strong chorus. It's a beautiful ballad, even it is rough and edgy. It sounds painful.

Since then, I picked up a couple of other Ani CD's including Living In Clip, a double-album collection of live performances. Very nice. Favorite song on Disc One is "Anticipate." No D/M symbolism. Just a cool song. Absolute fave on Disc Two is "Overlap." Wow! Lots of D/M imagery in there. Lots. There's a story in Lil' Thangs by the same title. Just a PWP. Couldn't resist. My other Ani CD is Little Plastic Castle. I almost didn't like it until I started listening to the lyrics. The music on some of the songs is kinda strange. Almost like ska, which I am so not into. But it gets better as you go down the disc. I've even established my new favorite song ever on this CD. "Swan Dive". I like this song because it epitomizes the chances that I've recently taken in my life. It's about jumping in feet first, even though you're scared and you may fail, you try anyway. Wonderful song.

Anyway, time to cover my ass.

Duncan, Methos, and all things Highlander belong to Davis/Panzer and Rysher Entertainment. Their lawyers are really nice people, aren't they? I'm just borrowing. I don't own 'em. Don't want to. Then this wouldn't be as much fun!

Next, all the song lyrics belong to the original "Righteous Babe" Ani DiFranco. I use them for inspiration with loving affection and no harmful intent.

Now for the stories. Remember, read 'em in order. So without further ado.......

Adam & Eve

Done Wrong

Dilate

Unfinished

December 29, 2000: Regardless of whether I'm producing new fiction or not, the following are stories that I have started but will NEVER finish. I started most of them over two years ago and looking over these snippets, none of them interest me enough to finish. Sorry. I may add some other things that I've found floating around since I put these up but there's no guarantee that I'll finish those either.

Weren't You Adored - A Post-Gathering half-thought.

After the Fall Part 4B - A brief continuation.

In A Lifetime - Twenty-five years after Duncan and Methos have a one-night stand.

Martinis, Girls, and Guns - A weird crossover

Redemption Day - post-Archangel Duncan-Doodoo angst

The Lil' Thangs

Dante's Prayer -- NC-17 DM/M 24K November 8, 1997 -- A year after Richie's death, Mac and Methos see each for the first time after their separation. WARNING!! Major sap ahead!

Notes - NC-17, m/m sexual stuff, 22K March 18, 1998 - Don't know where this came from, I swear! Mac and Methos engage in a little note-passing during a boring faculty lecture and things get a little out of hand (ha! no pun intended!!)

Overlap - NC-17, m/m sex, 30K May 31, 1998 - I won't win any awards for originality for this one, but I like it. It was one of those stories that just popped out when you heard a particularly good song. Summary: Methos gets tired of unrequited love, but then it seems so is MacLeod!

The Sausage Child - NC-17, m/m sex, 32K July 6, 1998 - My mind is a scary place. That's all I can say. Summary: You don't want to know!

A Quiet, Regular Life - NC-17, m/m sex December 19, 2000 - Methos gets a surprise visit on Christmas four years after he last saw MacLeod. I've also uploaded this story as a .pdf document. If you don't have the Acrobat reader, you can download it for free from adobe.com or from the Downloads section of the SlashCity.com main page.

Contemplation, not-rated January 17, 2001 - This isn't a story about DM but rather an explanation of how and why I left the Highlander fandom in April 1999. Hopefully it will answer some of the questions.

SIMmortal Beloved- R, language, sexual situations - temporarily unavailable (6/21/2001, I'm still working on this. Sorry!) January 22, 2001 - Oh, slash and THE SIMS are a dangerous combination! This was a tremendous amount of fun I had playing THE SIMS last week. It's a corny D/M story illustrated using a SIMS photo album. It's graphic intensive, though, so all of you poor folks still surfing on a 28.8 modem may have some lengthy download times.

An L.A. Story - NC - 17, m/m/m sex March 28, 2001 - This is a Joe-centric story of exploration and discovery among friends, in which Methos buys a car and, boy, does Joe get laid! The .pdf document is here as well.

Candlebright - PG, pre-slash May 11, 2001 - Methos the Nomad strikes again. Just a very little thing about a page long.

Nomad - PG, pre-slash

May 11, 2001 - Companion to "Candlebright" told from Duncan's POV.
