I thought this story was excellent, and deservedly won a Golden Orgasm award on ASCEM.[Note 1] Many years after Kirk’s death, Spock grants an interview to a young reporter, and agrees to tell him about his personal life, with the condition that he not publish the interview until Spock is dead. Spock then proceeds to tell him all about his relationship with James Kirk. The POV of this story is that of the young reporter. I loved seeing Spock through his eyes, and learning how hearing of Spock and Kirk’s devotion, love, and commitment changed his own life as well.[1]
