Summary
"In this first time novel, Kirk and Spock must enter Romulus' past through the Guardian of Forever to regain their history after a scientist changes the past. Posing as Romulan "peasants", they enter a convoluted time-loop where Kirk ends up revealing himself to be a Klingon agent and Spock -- his loyal Vulcan bondmate."

This was an excellent, very well-told story. Really kept my attention. The bit with Kirk and Spock and the wall-cleaning machine was so clear I could see it. And I loved all the whoppers Kirk and Spock came up with! [1]
