The Empress' Homage to Ares, God of War was a fansite for the character Ares from the show Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules, the Legendary Journeys, though The Empress preferred the former show to the latter.
You'll probably soon discover that I practice blatant favoritism for the show X:WP. Sorry to all the HTLJ cannon fans, but I just can't accept their quality of writing (not that X:WP's writers are that great, but they're considerably better). However, I do enjoy HTLJ fannon, so I do accept fanfiction from both shows. [1]
The site included Ares-centric fan fiction, episode lists, quotes, surveys, mythology, information about Kevin Smith (the actor who played Ares), merchandise, links, and a forum. Other websites were able to apply for three awards that The Empress gave out: The Empress' New Site Award, The Empress' Underappreciated Character Site Award, and The Empress' Magnificent Site Award.
The Empress was member #278 of The Xenite and Herkulean Webmasters Association as well as a member of The Council of Denial, Olympian Chapter. The site was part of The Hercules and Xena Webring, The Scrolls of the Bards Webring, and The Subtext of a Different Kind Webring.
