The Desert Storm is a Star Wars longfic created by Blue_Sunshine on Archive of Our Own. A gen series fic and a time travel fix-it, it follows Obi-Wan Kenobi four years after Revenge of the Sith who is suddenly sent 23 years in the past. As he struggles to fix the mistakes of the past and preempt the plots of the Sith, under the alias Ben Naasade, he takes his younger self as his padawan.
Known for the creator's very frequent update schedule, large ensemble cast and attention to detail, the series began on March 23, 2019 and as of January 2024 is is made up of 28 parts with a word count over 1.5 million. The series uses elements of both Star Wars Legends canon and new Disney EU canon.
As of May 2021, the first series has been concluded, but the saga continues in the Rise and Fall series, which has a generally darker tone.
