Summary
From Bill Hupe's catalog, which in turn is from the publisher:
On a routine survey mission to the planet Eta-Sagron III, Captain Kirk is knocked unconscious by a blow to the head. The concussion revives long-buried memories of his wife Mirimanee and the anguish he suffered at her death. Later, still concussed and now separated from his crew deep into a thick forest, he meets the young woman Sigyn and her wolf-life companion, Fenrir. Sigyn is able to listen to his troubles and comfort his pain, but she and Fenrir share an incredible secret.
