A Summary

Summary from a distributor, Agent With Style:

Kidnapped as a child, Jarod grew up in the cold isolation of the Centre, a place in which he was made to perform 'simulations,' pretending to be someone else and getting so thoroughly into their heads that he could explain what a pilot had done wrong in a plane crash, or what a particular criminal would do before he did it. In the Centre, Jarod lived a sheltered, virtuous life. But one day the pretender escaped, and he's discovered there's a whole new word out there to explore, with lots of gorgeous hunks out there to explore it with! He's not in the Centre anymore!

The Editorial

Welcome to the first issue of The Centre Fold a slash Pretender zine with a few cross-over friends from other fandoms. Some of the stories in this zine are from the net, while others are appearing here for the first time.

Some people argue that it is wrong to print stories already published up on the net, but we disagree. Not even one has access to the net or the facilities to print the hundreds of stories that abound out there. And like they say, you can't take your computer to bed with you, unless of course you're Bill Gates or have a foam rubber laptop.

Find a comfortable place. Sit back and enjoy the zine.
