cover by Suzan Lovett: "Holding Beauty". A fan in 2010 said: "She made Ray Vecchio hot... in a nude. And her Frasier, ahhh. Incredible!" [1] [2]

Thank You Kindly is a slash Due South anthology fanzine with a focus on the Fraser/Vecchio relationship. It has 213 pages and was published in 2000.

The cover art is titled 'Holding Beauty' and it is by Suzan Lovett. This art won a Huggy Award. The photo reference Lovett used for this illo is the same one utilized here.

Rosemary's story "Heart of Glass" won the 2000 STIFfie Award for Best Due South Novella.

The editorial mentions that submissions were being collected for a second issue of this zine, and it was to have a Fraser/Kowalski focus.

From the Editorial

As ever, the editor would like to thank the people who made this zine possible. A heartfelt 'Thank you kindly!' to Suzan Lovett for her exquisite, highly inspirational cover art. I believe that she has captured Benny and Ray's spirits exactly in this loving, tender masterpiece. I hope it will be as inspirational to the readers as it was to this writer! Thanks, Suzan!

My warmest thanks and deepest gratitude to the incredibly talented writers who trusted me with their work. You ladies did a stand up job on an insanely short time table.

Thank you all for your patience and unflagging good humor, but thank you especially for sharing your dreams with us. A zine is only as good as its stories and this one is a damn fme zine! Thanks Cheryl, Jan, Jeannie Marie and Katie! You guys outdid yourselves this time around!

I'd like to offer a special thanks to the two ladies who have taken on the crazy job of agenting this zine; Laura and Carol (Tacs). These are two of the finest people you're ever gonna meet and I appreciate these angels for coming into my life. Thanks Carol and Laura!

On a more personal note, I'd like to thank my two rays of sunshine - Glow and Kelly - for putting up with all this Due South talk and not killing me for gafiating, yet again. I couldn't do anything without you two! You two deserve a medal!

And, last, but far from least, I'd like to thank you the readers for buying this zine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed reading all these steamy, tender submissions. You're in for a real treat! Thank you kindly to one and all.

Love to all, Ro

Reactions and Reviews

For the joy of [Rosemary C's] writing, I bought a Fraser/Vecchio zine, and I think she made me enjoy a domestic discipline story... [3]
