This template is for journal communities: online communities on services like LiveJournal, Journalfen, InsaneJournal, Dreamwidth, etc. This template automatically adds the article to the category Journaling Communites. Please manually add a fan activity subcategory (such as Visual Art) and/or a fandom category if relevant.

For newsletter communities, use Template:JournalNewsletter.

For Challenges that have an associated community, use the Challenge template if your article is not primarily about the community.
