Tama is a semi-canonical character from the universe of The Lion King. Her first and only appearance is in the 2005 German comic Snakes in Paradise.

For many years, she and Vitani were the only named lionesses to have hair tufts, and as a result, she was, and still is, sometimes headcanoned to be the true mother of the latter. In these situations, Vitani may have been kidnapped by Zira, or Tama may simply be dead - in some cases killed by Zira. Other fans may have her be completely unrelated to Vitani.
