Okay, I don't want to sound like an complainer, but there's good reason I put "Heracles", not "Hercules" in the infobox. It's a common mistake: Hercules is a Roman counterpart of Heracles(down to a T) and it's his more "used" and glorified name. They are practically identical, but there's difference... Before I go all philosophical, if we're talking about Greek deities, at least try to use their Greek names, that's all.
P.S. Sorry for ranting, but I'm extremly touchy about mixing Greek and Roman Mythology... --Emma S. Tyler (talk) 23:19, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
- My suggestion for these articles would be to make the main page only about the figure from Greek mythology, with subsections & links for derivative characters. That way, you'd have e.g. a general Heracles page for inclusion in Category:Greek Mythology, and separate Heracles (PJ&TO), Hercules (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), Hercules (Disney character), etc pages for the different characters. That would keep things from getting confusing (and it's the way AO3 decided to do it). ----sparc 14:36, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice. At least, it'll spare me the headache of constantly checking for mistakes different interpretations do. Oh, by the way, thanks for the help on other Mythology related pages!
