Interview
This interview contains some interesting info about the con: Interview with Wincon organizer Ethrosdemon. Transformative Works and Cultures, no. 4.
Page reorganizing
My eyes are glazing over at all of the lists of vids and schedules. I think most of that could be on individual year pages (i.e. Wincon 2006, Wincon 2007, etc.) with the main article just having an overview of the con, the con's annual themes, stuff about its general impact or place in fandom, and so on. - I agree. Shore Leave is another one, and there are some other con long pages that need the same division. --Mrs. Potato Head 22:27, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with creating subpages where material warrants it. But (as one engaged in a several months long trawl through the stubs heap) can I implore editors not to start endless stub subpages where there is no/little content, just for consistency? Espresso Addict 23:33, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- No worries, Espresso Addict! The only time I've ever advocated for subpages is when the amount on the main page is simply overwhelming. In fact, I know we often err on the side of caution. --Mrs. Potato Head 23:47, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Links
I put back some of the links since they offer more details about the history of the convention. I made it clear that these were old links/not clear to avoid confusion.--MeeDee (talk) 05:39, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
