Talk:Vividcon/Vividcon 2009
Two of the links on this page go to the wrong files. The Bechdel Test and the IDIC playlist links are incorrect. Does anyone know how to find the correct files to link to? Conversely should these files be locally hosted?--facetofcathy 23:49, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- I see you have updated links. I am in favor of the data being locally hosted (or moved here) because websites/journals etc go down. When working on playlists, I suggest to not include artist names, just the fandom, vid/song title and vidder name.--Morgandawn 00:15, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- All I did was fix the coding on the links. I don't know anything about making tables (I find them very, very hard to read on Fanlore) or uploading files, so I'm not sure what to do. Maybe if we can get a hold of the two files that were linked incorrectly, we can decide.--facetofcathy 00:27, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
- Nods. what might be better for you to try a simple copy and paste of the data and skip tables (no idea about uploading websites/docs - never have done that on Fanlore - didn't even know it was possible). I don't know if you use Firefox but there is a Greasemonkey plugin that will take an existing page and convert it into wiki format. http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/02/27/5-ways-to-enhance-your-wikipedia-experience/ I've used it on tables and it works.--Morgandawn 01:15, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
