Marvel Comics Category

I removed Marvel Comics from the categories on this page. Marvel did a single run back in the late 80s/early 90s; all they did was work from a license. Simon Furman was the writer, and he has continued with several other comics companies since then to both finish that story (as Regeneration One) after Marvel dropped it and create a whole bunch of new Transformers stories and universes. The Transformers line in no way connects to the Marvel proprietary universe (completely separate continuities), and if we start going down that path of adding every fandom that has ever licensed Marvel to produce a comic book, we'll be stuffing a lot of unrelated fandoms into the Marvel category when fans don't perceive them that way. For example, there's a Marvel release of The Wizard of Oz, but I wouldn't tag that fandom with Marvel either. -the old briar pipe (talk) 04:12, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
