Other items to add, but I'm not sure when they happened:
- kudos bot, which now has an AO3 tag
- meta essays allowed
- original fiction allowed
- I think the spam comments about AI generated fic were going around before the porn spam incident, but I'm not sure how long.
- when it was discovered that users could hide other people's work by adding it to a collection and then setting the collection to unrevealed

Another idea: I just added info about the migration of Chinese and Russian users to AO3--are there specific events causing other language- or platform-based communities to migrate to AO3 that could be added to this timeline?--aethel (talk) 22:42, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
