Talk:Thematic List
Should this be integrated into the Masterlist page? Thematic lists are basically one form of masterlist, but are they distinct enough to need their own page? --Arduinna 20:16, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think a merge makes sense, unless there is something really interesting in the history of thematic lists, or some huge kerfuffle or controversy I'm unaware of, that would cause the thematic list section to dominate the masterlist article, I think a section under masterlist with a redirect works well. --Ratcreature 20:45, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have any specific objection, after looking at the existing definition of 'masterlist' on this site, though my own definition is rather different. I've always thought of masterlists as solely collections of either an author's own fics, or all the entries in a fanfiction challenge (or similar). I've never really used it to apply to thematic lists and so forth. Evidently the term is used in more contexts than I thought so I don't mind combining them. --Lanta 20:52, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I've merged the pages, and I'm going to redirect Thematic List to Masterlist now. --Arduinna 00:04, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
