I'm unclear on the fanworks naming policy where it applies to zines, and I put content at The Night of the Twin Moons as that's the title of the zine. -- Kdcat 05:25, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Hmm. I see your point. When looking at the listing of K/S zines, the short story collections are listed just by zine title, but when I was looking at novels and novellas in other fandoms (like Changes - Jean Kluge), those are listed by the fanworks "story title - author name" format, which is why I moved the information to that format; so I guess in my head the rule was single stories go under the fanworks format, no matter how long the story is, while collections go under the zine name. Does that seem reasonable? --rache 07:19, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
I find the fanworks Title - Creator format confusing, to be quite honest, and would find it easier to see articles at just the Title unless there is more than one work with the same title. I'm confused as to what is intended to have the Title - Creator format and what just name. -- Kdcat 18:43, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
We're still working on the guidelines here, but in essence, all fanworks should be in the fanworks format, but it doesn't have to start there. If it's created with just the title name, then at some point in the future, it will most likely be moved into the fanworks format. So go ahead and create it how it makes sense to you, and if it needs to be moved in the future, one of the gardeners will do that. --rache 18:54, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
The other thing in this specific instance is that there is The at the start of the work's title, so that should begin the article name. -- Kdcat 18:43, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

It really is "THE" Night of the Twin Moons -- can we get the page moved?

Since Google showed as many one way as the other, I finally went home and found my copy. It is definitely THE Night of the Twin Moons.--Sherrold 17:43, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

editions and art

MeeDee, do you have the edition with the yellow cover, the later one? Because I have the first edition blue-covered one, and it doesn't have that Landon portrait of Sarek in it. While there is a small mention of the different art in different editions on the page right now, I think it should be noted more prominently. --Mrs. Potato Head 03:27, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

yes I only have the yellow cover zine, 4th printing (which is where I got the Landon portrait of Sarek). So we can confirm it was added afterwards.--MeeDee 05:24, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

German translations

Any help with the German translated editions would be super! --Mrs. Potato Head 20:35, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

What kind of help do you need? The description says it's a 142-page A4 zine with many illustrations and a colour cover. --Doro 20:52, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
Any clues on who the artist or translator are? I'm guessing the pub dates are some time in the 1990s? I'm unsure how the translations correspond to the original; one says it is "volume 1" and the English version isn't divided into volumes. Also, the formatting of the German translation section (at least to me) looks awkward; maybe there's a better way to display these two covers and the text? --Mrs. Potato Head 20:57, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
It doesn't say anything about artist or translator, but only one of those zines is the translation, the other one is a zine with stories and essays set in this universe. I tweaked it a bit. Hope that helps. --Doro 23:11, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
It looks better. Thank you. I wish we knew more about that second zine, as it really deserves its own page. --Mrs. Potato Head 23:13, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
