Talk:The Log

STAG #18 (1976) mentions that "Log 7 is now out in America" and that it contains one story "Counter Clock Incident." It would seem this would be part of this series, but the date doesn't fit. --Mrs. Potato Head 16:48, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Where does the date for issue #4 come from? If it's a typo and supposed to mean 1973, then the date for Log #7 would fit. --Doro 16:51, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
I don't have the source, sadly, as that's an early one before I was more careful. But the style of the table of contents and the way things are capitalized makes me think this is from ebay from bandit2142. If the date is from her: she's sometimes incorrect, but not often. If it was my typo, that makes more sense. I'll see if I can't ask around about this title. Because you're right, the 1973 date would fit perfectly. --Mrs. Potato Head 16:58, 17 May 2012 (UTC) Added: question: is the woman on the cover, or Spock's uniform, be from one of the movies? That would be a datestamp. --Mrs. Potato Head 17:00, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
I googled a bit and still can't answer the date question, but it looks like this page is a duplicate of New Enterprise Log. Check out issue #4 there. ETA: The woman looks like Saavik, which would date her 1982 or later. --Doro 17:03, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Aha! Makes sense. There is no content on this page that isn't duplicated on New Enterprise Log. I'm going to turn this page into a stub for this much earlier zine called Log, which appears to be something by Margaret Austin. I'll ask some fans who may know. --Mrs. Potato Head 17:12, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Turns out this is a pro book on the Animated Series, not a fanwork at all. Not something I want to spend any more time on for Fanlore. Now, what to do about this article and this talk page? --Mrs. Potato Head 01:47, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
We can delete the page and leave the talk page so people will know why it was deleted.--æþel 20:14, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
