Rearrange Page For Flow
I know MPH just added the Influence and Controversies section for readability reasons, and I think that's a great idea, but I'm wondering if it would be better to rearrange the page itself. We could pull the summary quotations from the intro, put them under "About The Series", and then re-write the intro to touch on the fact that this fic was highly influential and controversial. It'd make the intro stronger overall, and also on its own like this idk how necessary this section is since it mostly serves as a placeholder/reference for other sections further down the page.
Honestly, there's a bit of rearranging I'd like to do for page flow here. My current thoughts are:
- Intro
- Touching on basic premise, importance to fandom, and overview of the controversies (as mentioned in the current "Influence and Controversies" section)
- About The Series
- Original/TV Tropes Summaries
- Lists And Primers
- Tropes & Influence
- Tropes
- Vocabulary
- Inspired Fanworks
- Controversies
- Quotes; but nested for readability
- External Links
- Refs
("Inspired Fanworks" can maybe stay its own section, i'm not entirely sold on putting it under "Tropes & Influences", they're just clearly related.)
Thoughts? I'm working on the quotes rn since that one's fairly straightforward and relatively minor. --Punkpixieprince (talk) 03:56, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
