Is it okay to rename this to Star Trek Con (1969 convention)? Star Trek Con (1969 Star Trek con) is repetitive.--æþel 14:28, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Why is this disambiguated to begin with? There is no Star Trek Con page. --Doro 14:45, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Hm, there's a Star Trek Conventions page.--æþel 14:54, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
I like the rename suggestion. Good idea. --Mrs. Potato Head 15:12, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Rename good idea. Way too many early Star Trek cons (some with no names at all) - and only way to distinguish sometimes is by year. But then there was that year when the two major Star Trek cons battled it out in the same city and same year after the concom split into two groups. And of course, fans never use the same name consistently when talking about this or that Star Trek con. You often have to triangulate - Name - fandom - actor gueests -City - Year and Hotel to pin them down..... Where were we...ah yes, rename good idea. --MeeDee 17:38, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
I moved the page and created Star Trek Con as a disambiguation page.--æþel 20:39, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
