Talk:Slasher Hanky Code

How is this a "fanwork"? Our own article claims "In fanworks, some element of a canon work -- the source text or event -- is taken and incorporated into a new creative piece." Well, I guess technically the gay hanky code might be considered "source", but I still find this a rather odd classification. I mean, as a sort of matchmaking device, wouldn't this be more a fan activity?--RatCreature 20:09, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd say switch it to Fan Activity as that seems to make more sense. --Mrs. Potato Head 20:11, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
A problem may be that there is no template for that, so no pretty box. hmmm.--RatCreature 20:18, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Might be why Morgan put it where she did. --Mrs. Potato Head 20:23, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Ah, well. I'll just add the activity category on top of the existing right now, and maybe eventually a better solution (more templates or something) will present itself.--RatCreature 20:25, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Maybe we could try to make more templates? If we just copy the code from the zine templates and adjust it for a new template, that might work. --Doro 21:02, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
