There seem to be several ways to capitalize this award - can someone create a redirect? ex. Stiffie, Stiffe Award, STIFfie Award, STIFFIE ....--Morgandawn 06:33, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Are there any actual links that use another capitalization? I checked STIFFIE, Stiffie, Stiffie Award, and STIFfie Award via "what links here", and there are no pages using these that would need the redirects. I mean, I guess one could create them preemptively, but I think it's a bit pointless to make a ton of redirects when nobody uses these other possible capitalizations.--Ratcreature 13:00, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I disagree on the pointlessness of preemptive redirects, especially with the search engine we have. When I can't find something easily with how I think it would be spelled, I make a redirect. And then I think of all the ways someone who isn't familiar with the title or term would try to search and make redirects for those as well. Mrs. Potato Head 16:35, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

yes, because I just went thru and changed them all by hand. actually, what I'd like to learn is how to do redirects myself - is there a tutorial so I don;t have to keep asking. --Morgandawn 15:11, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

The Editing Cheatsheet describes how to make redirects (you find the link on the left under "Shortcuts for Editors"). You just create a page with the name you want to redirect, for example STIFFIE or Stiffie, and then you add the redirect code from the Editing Cheatsheat and replace "Target Page" with the page where the redirect is supposed to go (If you preview the page, it doesn't look like a redirect and says "1. REDIRECT" instead. Ignore that and simply save the page). --Doro 15:39, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you Doro. That was very helpful and will save me (and others) time. --Morgandawn 17:36, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

I added a subpage for 1992, but it isn't showing up on the main page. It's been a problem I've had with other similar pages. Could someone figure out why? Then I can look at the change and see what you did. --MPH (talk) 13:02, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
