Now that I've created this page, I'm not sure it's exactly a fannish term--more like a printing term that got used A LOT in fanzine fandom. It was listed in a glossary compiled by an academic studying fandom in 1982: "The Language of Science-Fiction Fan Magazines" by Bruce Southard in American Speech 57.1--æþel (talk) 02:11, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
