Change this page?

I've been thinking, tagging novel as a redirect to story length that says early on about fanfictions and doesn't seem to have an approach to the term novel for books feels wrong. Wouldn't it be better to redirect novel to a disambiguation that leads to pages, articles and explanations that fall short of the fandom universe, but that incorporates Canon?
