Talk:Message Board
I don't have any good links offhand, but the uneven adoption of LJ vs. message boards vs. other types of site is a frequent source of wank (e.g. whenever an exchange is run off of LJ instead of a forum or mailing list or when people are critiquing OTW's blog-based communications strategies). Even if you just look at fanfic writing, there is definitely major fandom activity happening on forums; it just depends on which fandoms and which parts of fandom you're looking at. It's particularly obvious with places like Soompi. Franzeska 19:12, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Meta/more links about journals/forums, for different fandoms/parts of fandoms etc. would be great, if anyone has any links! There are definitely many active fannish websites/forums and not enough that have pages here. Maybe Mangafox for manga&anime, Gateworld for Stargate, Naver for manhwa...--Tiyire 19:44, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
