Could use more examples, and links to any discussions of how lost colony status created certain social dynamics.

I'm wondering if there's going to be much fannish to say about this topic? As it is now, this article is pretty much entirely about a science fiction trope as used in profic; I'm not sure how best to connect this to fanworks or fan perceptions of "lost colony" settings.--Penknife 20:12, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
I know a lot of SGA fanfic describes Atlantis like a lost colony (e.g. Written by the Victors), but they don't use this term.--Aethel 21:21, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
