Talk:List of Naruto Communities

I hope I don't annoy people with too many small editions - it is easier for me to add a couple of communities every evening than to do a long community additing session. Susanna 21:23, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

I concentrate on the communities that are listed in the updates by naruto_news. When I feel that I won't find many new communities that way, I will start looking at lists of affiliates. Also I am thinking of a way to systemize the pairing communities, and whether challenge communities devoted to a particular pairing should rather be listed in the pairing section or in the challenge section. I had no idea there were so many Naruto communities! Not my fandom at all, so it's fascinating to watch what you are doing here. ^_^ --Doro 20:30, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
I had no idea either before I volunteered collecting them.Susanna 20:38, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
There were over 200 communities when I made the Naruto Community Masterlist three and a half years ago. At this point I'm getting concerned with the organization of this list, which was a problem I had when writing the masterlist. As the list grows larger, it will be more and more difficult for people to find what they're is looking for. In the masterlist I listed pairing comms twice, once under each name, and divided people into groups, which sort of worked. With the way this list is going right now, it'll be even more spread out. Any ideas or preferences? -- Kylara 20:53, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
My idea is that with the pairings I will make subsections: Pairings that include Naruto, pairings that include Sasuke, pairings that inculde Sakura etc. I would not list pairings twice (there are just too many Sasunaru communities) but write "Sasunaru: see pairings that include Naruto). But I am open to other ideas. Susanna
I feel that if we're doing it by character, then we might as well list comms twice since it usually takes up the same amount of space: one line, or occasionally two. SasuNaru is the only pairing with that many communities so it's an exception. For now I've tried organizing the pairings by the groups they're a part of to give it some basic structure. -- Kylara 22:53, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
