Talk:List of Fansub Groups

Three questions for anyone interested in this topic. First, should Chinese drama be split into Cantonese and Mandarin? Is there much Mandarin drama? I know nothing on the topic, so please forgive me if those questions are ignorant. Second, should films be added, or does that open the page up to a flood of semi-pro groups? Third, can of worms time! Should reencode groups who use other groups' scripts to create BD encodes (Coal*, Th*, etc.) be included as digisubbers, or should a third category for reencoders be added? And if a third category, where should groups that rip prosubs (not naming names, but everyone knows who they are) for their initial releases be included in that category? And to piggyback off that, should we stick to listing defunct or mostly-defunct groups, where possible? -the old briar pipe (talk) 23:22, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
