Talk:Leah S.
Can someone tell me what needs to be done with this page regarding the gardener tag? Mrs. Potato Head 23:05, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- well, when I created this I assumed the full name was okay, but maybe it is not? The WWOMB page uses both the current pseud "Cat Moon" (which is also the one used on LJ) and associates it with the previous "Peruvian Gypsy" one, and that pseud and the name were used equivalent on some S&H zine list or other, iirc, and that's the name on the zines linked here so I created under that, but the WWOMB profile just gives it as "Leah S." so maybe that is preferred by the author? IDK.--Ratcreature 00:13, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- All very confusing. I've been using her full name in the entries I've made. I'm going to assume that's okay unless I hear differently. Until then, I'm going to take the gardener's tag off. Mrs. Potato Head 00:31, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- I admit that the first half dozen or so zines I've seen this name on, I actually thought this was the same fan as an HP fanartist whose work I've seen around a lot. It wasn't until I started to create this page that I realized that the fanartist was called Leela S. (who also uses that as her LJ name), not Leah. So the idea in my head that the full name was currently used in fandom came actually from that other person, and only as I was in the middle of creating a page I realized that there were two people, not one who maybe was in S&H before getting into HP and fanart or somthing. And then I just went ahead and created the stub anyway, even though I don't know this fan at all.--Ratcreature 00:53, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
request for redaction by admin
Some of the text above on this talk page might still too clearly link the name Leah and the last name the fan would prefer not to have associated with their fannish identity. Maybe a wiki admin could redact out the redlinked name in Ratcreature's comment? --Sk 06:11, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Status Update 2/11/2012
I went ahead and removed the full name and replaced it with Leah S (there were about 70+ pages). The Wiki Committe has been alerted so they can start the deeper scrubbing as needed. They can also answer any further questions. If Leah needs a list of the 7+ fanzine publishers who are currently using her full RL name on their websites, she can email me here.--MeeDee 08:09, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
