Just a note that I believe AOL is closing its members' sites on Oct 31. The Jane Mortimer link will expire. -- Vera 08:11, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- I switched it to the most recent Wayback link instead. --Arduinna 17:02, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Theoretically, she's getting a webpage soon. I want to say these are also on Gossamer, but I can't swear to it. --Seperis 17:17, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, that would be great! And yeah, the XF ones are probably on Gossamer, but she's got the HL story and the essays on her website, too, which I don't think are anywhere else. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a new site. --Arduinna 17:27, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm glad. That page has been around for almost as long as I've been in fandom, probably the oldest unchanged original individual website I know. - Vera 21:18, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- I know! I hadn't been there in a long time, and had this happy little moment when I saw it, exactly as I remembered. It was all I could do not to start re-reading all her XF right then. *g* --Arduinna 21:24, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
I think the links for The Advantages of Erotic Fan Fiction As an Art Form, and The Advantages of Fan Fiction As an Art Form should link to the essays, not to wikipages about the essays. What say you guys? Sherrold 20:04, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- To be consistent with other essays on the site, it really should stay the link to the fanwork page, and then the fanwork page will give detail on it and why it's important, as well as having a link to the work itself. That way if for some reason the link dies, there's still the summary and other information available. --rache 20:15, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
