I didn't watch Hercules, just Xena, so I'm a bit confused about the whole...dying and variations of Iolaus, so my hope is somehow who watched the show might be able to make something of these? -- Cookies and chaos (talk) 13:34, 29 April 2024 (UTC)

I have added some quotes from these discussions to the page and started a new section about his death and the introduction of Iolaus2. Sidekick section?

Thank you to all who are working on this interesting page. :-)

What do you think of scooping out the paragraph and quote from the Canon section about Iolaus being a sidekick and making that its own section? It seems like a topic in its own right, and more fan commentary and context could be added there? Just a thought. --MPH 13:13, 20 May 2024 (UTC)

That's a good idea, and it would solve the issue I was having trying to figure out how to bring the fan commentary in. The discussions of him as a good sidekick character seem common enough and it would help improve the article's focus on what drew fans to his character (which was brought up on the Featured Articles voting page as an area that would benefit from expansion). --Cookies and chaos (talk) 14:14, 20 May 2024 (UTC)

The commentary there already is a good start. I'll look around for more.
