To add movie information or not?
So, I didn't know about this fandom, but using the random function I found a zine that redirected me here. I intend to add new information about the series and I noticed there is a movie, it is not mentioned in the article but its release date is there marc. So can I add more accurate information about the series and movie canon? If any editor can enlighten me I would be grateful. Ellakbhesse (talk) 22:43, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sure, if there was canon material not already mentioned it would be a good idea to list it, so people can know the full scope of the material that the fandom centers around. Patchlamb (talk) 00:53, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
I think it would be good to modify the canon section as a whole. Firstly because the part about the series seems a little incomplete. The misc. part is not correct. I still haven't found information about the actors being changed regularly throughout the series or that there was an official crossover with the x-files. See the text below, I don't think it's all right:
The actors changed, at least slightly, each year/season. The tv show was based on a book, so canon can be one or the other, but usually is the tv show. HLTOS canonically crossed over with both Law & Order, and The X-Files (Munch met the Lone Gunmen).
And whether the canon is about the book or not, I think having a page from the book would be interesting as it was also an inspiration for other series and not all characters in the book are in Homicide or are the same. Ellakbhesse (talk) 01:06, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
