Heart Flower AU?

Kingstoken what would be Heart Flower AU? I never heard of this trope. I wanted to know why I was curious about the term. -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 13:53, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

This is trope similar to soulmark AUa, but instead flower tattoos appear on their body, but it is not just surrounding true love, but also whenever something significant happens in a character's life a flower appears. I am still trying to determine if this fic is the originator of this trope, at this point it looks like it might be. If I get enough info I might make a glossary page for it -- Kingstoken (talk) 14:15, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

So that would be some kind of soulmark? Very interesting. I liked it. I've read stories with this trope but never related to flowers. Some I've met are tattoos that represent their other half, or that represent themselves. First words or last words to each other. Time left in hours to meet the name of your soul mate Share messages through your skin when you write something on it. Feel each other's wounds until they meet. The universe of soulmark and soulmates is quite diverse. Ellakbhesse (talk) 15:54, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

Yes, there are so many variations on the soulmark concept. I thought this one was different enough that it should have it's own page, because the marks are not just based on finding one's soulmate -- Kingstoken (talk) 16:42, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

Yes, that sounds too perfect to be just one line in any section. More than a page deserved. I am happy to know this. Ellakbhesse (talk) 16:52, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
