Talk:Geralt/Regis

Page name

Elaborating on the suggestion for move, in the series the character of Regis is only ever called "Regis," "Emiel Regis" or his full name "Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy." Just to demonstrate, if you search the Polish eBook, the name Regis is mentioned 288 times. Of these, 6 are his full name, 16 are "Emiel Regis," 2 are "Regis Terzieff-Godefroy" and the rest are just "Regis." Could be slightly different in translation to English, which is the language I actually read the series in, but since Polish is the original text and I own the series in Polish as a single file eBook I used that (available here, if anyone is interested). In the games (which popularized the pairing) only his name Regis is ever used. He's not in the show (yet). Toqger (talk) 09:49, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

It appears fans are refering to him similarly in fanworks/discussion. On Ao3, the tag for this pairing has not been synned to Geralt/Emiel, but Geralt/Emiel Regis and Geralt/Regis are both synned. Quick look at English lang summaries and the character appears to be refered to almost exclusively as Regis. Moving as requested --Auntags (talk) 08:48, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
