Talk:Gamergate
This topic is so huge. It's a bit of a cop out to reference Wikipedia, but they've done a super job (242 beautiful footnotes!), and why invent the wheel with that part.
I think what the Fanlore page could add to this is to include links to discussion in the Further Reading/Meta section, to include some Gamergate transformative works: fic/fanart/vids/cosplay..., to provide some links to similar pages on Fanlore (PuppyGate...). What else? --MPH (talk) 19:22, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
News references to Gamergate 2.0
I'm not in video game fandom communities enough to discuss how this might be impacting fandom spaces and I haven't read enough to write succinctly about it either, so if someone is looking to add to/develop a new article for what's happening re: Sweet Baby Inc and how it's being discussed as Gamergate 2.0 by some and various other discussions around it + how they might relate to fandom, here's a link dump:

- While connected to Gamergate in similar themes, I would say this controversy warrants its own article. Also, divulging into personal opinion, but I don't think this is widespread enough to classify as "gamergate 2" s' that's just me. Pinky G Rocket (talk) 15:51, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
