Talk:Forever Knight Wars

My *God*, this sounds just like the Otaku Wars on alt.fan.sailor-moon circa... *checks old sites* 1997. *Wow*. Seriously, it was just like this-- there were "factions" for each of the characters, and God-moding was discouraged, and-- Wow. I always thought that OW! was a unique phenomenon. Oh, man. Fandom is *awesome*. -- Liviapenn 07:39, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh, how cool! Who would've thought that particular thing could have developed independently in two such different places? That's amazing. The only other fandom I ever knew of that had something even remotely similar was Highlander, which adopted the idea from FK (there were lots of fans on both Forkni-L and Highla-L at the same time, so there was lots of bleed-through), but the fandom itself was too different and the idea never quite worked/took off. I've never seen anything else like it in any other fandom. It was a cool way to be mentored into fandom, although it means I'm generally completely befuddled by "real" character and ship wars, 'cause, dude, this is supposed to be *fun*. --Arduinna 07:57, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
