Can someone write a section on that trope like every fandom has, where Character A will say they like X Food exactly once in canon or something and then, like, every fanwork has to reference it in some way and it's always their favorite food and they're just comically into it? some examples of this off the top of my head including masky (marble hornets) with cheesecake, norway (hetalia) with butter, wally darling (welcome home) with apples, and tallahassee (zombieland) with twinkies. there's even a tvtropes page: Trademark Favorite Food. i know there was a popular tumblr post going around about this too that we could quote just don't feel like looking for it right now. there's also some overlap in there with Cargo. i'm working on a bigger page right now and noticed there's nothing on fanlore about this trope, so i thought i'd put a note here. --Skrillien 21:18, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
