Does anyone know if the upswing in 2015 posts are spam or legit? --MPH (talk) 23:56, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

They're spam -- at least the ones since August 29, 2015 all are, it looks like the ones before that were deleted. The messages from 2013 and April 2014 also no longer appear in the archives but the April 2014 one at least was legit (according to what I wrote in July 2014 it was a post searching for a new mod). The last non-spam post appearing in the archives was from the mod on September 27, 2012, saying that messages to the community would temporarily be moderated due to spam. In fact, it looks like most of the messages since early 2008 were probably spam: the archives show 3 non-spam messages in 2012, 3 in 2011, and 4 in 2010. --sparc 06:37, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
