Wouldn't this be a fancomic and not a doujinshi since it's not Japanese?

@Silencio — Doujinshi isn't a japanese fancomic but also a particular style/aesthetic/tradition of self-published work that can take the form of magazines, manga or novels. This page is actually about a light novel format doujinshi, which means it's narrative text + illustrations, not sequential art, and it was published at one point via DoujinPress, where it was described as "An Ace Attorney light-novel format doujin". Doujinshi is definitely the right term and the right infobox. - Hoopla (talk) 17:07, 17 February 2019 (UTC)

@Hoopla Thank you for answering, though i'm not sure I agree. For me, doujinshi = Japanese, fancomic = everything but Japanese. Though in the end it was called a doujinshi by those who published it. --Silencio (talk) 17:24, 17 February 2019 (UTC)

@Silencio — I mean, being self-published and stuff is just what "doujinshi" means. I'm not really up on what the general feel is in the english or japanese fandoms re: whether it's legit for english works to be called doujinshi, but Divina certainly seems to fit all of the criteria except being Japanese and it's not for Fanlore editors to decide whether or not its language/place of origin disqualifies it. If english fans would call this a doujinshi (which they do seem to do) then our duty is to document that usage of the term. - Hoopla (talk) 17:43, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
