Talk:Coffee Prince
Romaization makes my head hurt! Okay, now that I've got that out, I changed the romanization of the author's name to match what I found to be the most common usage and to put the surname first. I ended up going with Dramawiki's romanization for everything else since they actually have a stated policy that favours common fan usage/actual personal choice of real people/revised romanization.
Also, if anyone knows the region restrictions on the cruncyroll streaming--please add, I can't find them anywhere. --facetofcathy 20:03, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- This is a sticky issue. Real people are usually easy because you can find their preferred romanization. The thing is that DramaWiki doesn't actually always use the most common fan usage. (E.g. Han Gyul is used by one set of fansubs, Han Kyul by another. I've seen about half and half as the tag wrangler for this fandom on AO3.)--Tari 17:01, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
It's been a while, but I recall that Coffee Prince was the series that really brought respect to YEH as an actress (she received criticism for her acting in Goong, especially since she was a former member of Baby VOX). True, or am I misremembering? --Anenko 18:04, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know if she received criticism for her acting in Goong but it is true she was a former member of Baby VOX. I remember fans of the manhwa objected to her because she was perceived as not being "ethereal" enough to play the Goong main character. But maybe that's a topic for the Goong page.--Tari 17:01, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
