However, some kind of voting must take place, otherwise there would be no difference between awards and recommendations.

What about awards which are judged by a panel eg the Mithril Awards? No voting necessarily involved, but they aren't the same as recommendations. Espresso Addict 08:52, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Right now, the "Award" page just lists awards for fanworks; should it mention things like the Hugo and Nebula awards? If not, should there be "fan awards" and "pro awards" pages? Elf (talk) 23:07, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
