Hey, I created a redirect from Aristide, but now that I think about it, shouldn't "Aristide" be the article name and "Mairead Triste" be the redirect? IIRC, the person in question doesn't go by "Aristide/Mairead Triste", but by one name or the other. I was under the impression that "Mairead Triste" was an older alias??--Aethel 13:39, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

In TS, before LJ I thought this was two people, because some stories were listed as written by both, e.g Shadows and Light and The Dragon, whereas others where by one or the other.--Ratcreature 14:00, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Mairead was her first alias, so I would have no problem redirecting from that to an article under Aristide. I think having them joined at the title will cause more problems than having one redirect to the other, with a listing of the 3nd name under pseuds. --rache 14:33, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
I think the names need to be together. They're not a function of age, but of a type of story, and make up the two halves of the person they encompass, and they've definitely both been active at the same time, both separately and as a collaboration. (From her profile page bio: "This is the home of Aristide and Mairead Triste, and the person who houses them. Together, we're the Cimmerians. It's a place to post slash, dude. FYI: Aristide is the nice/sweet/lighthearted/romantic one. Mairead is a horror, and enjoys spreading that around. I still haven't figured out if I allow them to collaborate because it's so weird, or because I like watching the fights. As far as fic goes: please do mind the warnings. They're there for a reason.") She does keep them distinct, though; any collaborative story I've ever seen has been by "Aristide and Mairead Triste", not "Aristide/Mairead Triste". So maybe instead of a slash between the two names, it should be an ampersand? And redirects from both individual names to the combined pseud, with sections on the combined page for each separate pseud. --Arduinna 15:42, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
What she said; it's not old and new, they're both her and they're both active. In recs it's often slash and not ampersand in order to show that they aren't really two people, which is why I did it this way, i.e. Francesca/Speranza not Francesca & Speranza. And yes to redirects from both individual names; I just didn't have time --Speranza 16:32, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I've added a redirect from Mairead Triste as well. The one thing that concerns me is that the page thinks it is a subpage of Aristide.--Aethel 17:12, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
