Talk:Ad Astra (archive)
Would it be interesting to add a Top 3 or Top 5 Star Trek Series with the most amount of works?
I can't really talk about a Top Fandoms since Ad Astra is a Star Trek archive. Would it be interesting to add? MiaQc (talk) 20:38, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
Will you please stop stalking melo and I, it's getting old. I'm this close to asking Fanlore staff to block you from editing anything to do with me or my archives, because frankly, you're acting creepy. --Steff (talk) 20:57, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
To Gardeners, Emergency
How many time must I repeat myself? I'm NOT stalking her nor you. Nor acting “creepy” as you said. You both acting off just because I want to share stuff about your archives while respecting Fanlore policies. I’m human, I made mistakes. Big ones, I know, but I always try to fix them. If someone else edits your pages it's ok but when its me that's "OMG she's stalking/harassing us!" O.O.
You and melo are the ones getting too overworked over this tiny thing. In fact, I would love her to stop calling me names when I don't even talk to her and about her on my socials. Who cares if I mention superlove once or twice in a post talking about the OTW Archives?
If this is about the incident page, it's not my fault it took 30 days for the admins to delete it. I wanted to have a journalistic approach to the whole thing with me and melo sharing our POVs. That's it. That was the only goal since it did affect superlove invite queue. I believed at the time it was appropriate on Fanlore because there are pages about scandals, controversies, etc. Being a “normal citizen” don’t cut it. I’m a normal citizen and if I would be a a-hole and causing trouble everywhere, it would be justified to have a page about it.
Anyway I moved on in my own way by interacting positivity on Fanlore, making fan buttons & anthro fanfics and you 2 did not. Heck, with Anubis on, I can't even get to her archive anymore. It block me most of the times so problem solved I guess? Besides, I was barely going here. Only checking for updates to update the fanlore page. Same for your archives. I barely visit them.
But this is getting way too far with you 2. What if I say you two are the ones bullying me by talking behind my back, then what? Never ending quarrel nonsense with “she said this, she said that, who is right, who is wrong?”.
Fine. I'll ask the Gardeners to block me from all your pages. Or better yet, why not simply closing my account since I'm not welcome here by you & melo? You both wants me out. I'll go out. Can Gardeners erase my presence from Fanlore? All the edits I had made + closing my account. MiaQc (talk) 21:30, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
You follow me on Reddit. You follow me on Tumblr. You write fanfiction about my websites. You've been asked repeatedly to stop. Please leave me alone. --Steff (talk) 21:48, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
- Oh boy.
"You follow me on Tumblr." I can't follow you, you blocked me a long time ago.
"You follow me on Reddit." I didn't even follow you here but I did the follow/unfollow just in case. Unlees you have another account?
"You write fanfiction about my websites." So where is the harm? I don't stop anyone to write fanfic about my websites if they want to. I can write fanfics about every archives under the sun except yours?
"You've been asked repeatedly to stop." I been asking to stop talking to melo directly by herself a long time ago and, as I interpreted it, to not say offensive things about her archive. I don't see the logic in "No-Talking-About-Superlove-Ever!". I'm autistic. I have my own logic and a strong interest in ALL OTW-Archives. Asking me to stop talking about them it's like asking me to stop functionning. I need to move out of my strong interests on my own and that takes a very, very long time for said interest to decline and then vanish.
"Please leave me alone." I wasn't in contact with you at all and you pulled that "stalking" nonsense on me again. It’s like on Squidgeworld with the admin comment I posted by mistake ‘cause wrong account. I was very close to being phased out of melo/superlove interest and what did you do? You bring it back to my face while guilt tripping me about a fanfic that the "mean version" was deleted! As long as you bring the “stalking” back, as long as melo calls me names, I won’t stop what I’m doing. Besides why don’t you two move on and leave me alone, eh? Let me write my fanfics/posting about otw-archives in peace. MiaQc (talk) 22:19, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
You're on the talk page for my archive. I follow it because it's my archive. Yes, I blocked you on Tumblr because I don't want contact with you. I, too, have an admin name on SqWA. I'm also friends with the owner of it. You using your admin name to comment on that post was inappropriate and hence my response, which I eventually deleted. I'm not the one on your talk page. Please stop. Please. If you're so invested in otw-archive, then go launch your own instance of it. My launching two is not, and has never ever been, an invitation for someone to get creepy and follow me to the point where I block them and ban them. --Steff (talk) 22:25, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
- "You're on the talk page for my archive." So? I know its your archive. I'm not dumb. I was only asking a question like any other editors would.
"You using your admin name to comment on that post was inappropriate and hence my response, which I eventually deleted." I am aware of that but melo had nothing to do with it. That user get banned in the end and BTW he still treating you like shit on Ao3.
"If you're so invested in otw-archive, then go launch your own instance of it." I cannot code, OTW is complex as heck, plus the server cost in Canada. Nobody will do it for me so no plus I have my own website for my fics.
"[...] an invitation for someone to get creepy and follow me to the point where I block them and ban them." I'm NOT creepy. You Stop. Stop Calling Me Creepy. Stop Getting Upset Over Stupid Things. Just block me everywhere, ban me from your archives and tell melo to do the same. No one will stop me from following my interests.
I won't reply anymore. I send a email to fanlore admins asking for my account deletion and to revert all edit I have done on melo's and your pages. MiaQc (talk) 22:47, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi folks, FireBatVillain here with the Fanlore Policy & Admin team. The team has discussed this matter, and we appreciate the fact that it was brought to our attention.
- To MiaQc, we would like to clarify that the edit to Ad Astra (archive) on Mar 24 to add the button was acceptable. We would also like to clarify that, the initial edit to Talk:Ad Astra (archive) at 13:38, 27 March 2025 to open discussion of adding fanfic links was acceptable. However, the subsequent arguing was not.
- We would like to ask Steff and MiaQc to avoid using Fanlore talk pages as a space to litigate off-site behavior, like who follows or blocks whom on Tumblr. Please do not do this in the future.
- In the event of problematic edits, or unwanted attention or hostile editing, please make use of the contact form in situations like this in the future, and the Fanlore Policy & Admin team will be able to evaluate and take action. For those of you who may have already used this form to contact us about this, thank you for doing so.
- MiaQc, we will be in touch with you on your talk page about account deletion, which should be satisfactory.
- Thank you for your time and patience on these matters. If there is any further hostile editing or conflict, please do not hesitate to report it via the contact form. -- FBV (talk) 00:18, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
