Ad Astra is an archive focused on Star Trek fanfiction. As well as fic for the various TV Shows, Books and Games there is a sizable section of works featuring original characters and ships, called the "Expanded Universe".
In addition to hosting works, it features fanfiction challenges, forums, a Discord server, a Dreamwidth community, a Pillowfort community, a Tumblr account and a Twitter account.
History
The site was founded as an eFiction archive in January 2009. In 2023, due to security concerns, it was decided to make the original eFiction archive read-only and make a new site using AO3's open source archive software.[1] It became the second site to use OTW-Archive after SquidgeWorld Archive.
Posting
All submissions must adhere to the archive's tagging rules. RPF is not allowed unless the person being written about is a notable historical figure and has been dead for fifty years.
Community
As well as challenges and exchanges, there is also a Discord chat server.[2]
