Talk:24/7

Subpage issue

This needs to be a disambiguation page not a redirect. 24/7 is a really famous XF fic by Xanthe (long, lots of recs, awards) which is what I first associate with 24/7 in fandom, not this recent conference.--Ratcreature 21:24, 25 January 2009 (UTC) ETA: which I'd just create, but I'm not sure how to avoid making it appear as yet another unrelated subpage on the 24 page.--Ratcreature 21:25, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Maybe to fix the subpage list problem on the 24 page this could become a mere redirect to a page "24/7" (i.e. with the quotes, like the videosummit page already has) and the disambiguation happens there. Redirects in turn aren't listed as subpages (like the unfortunate not-listing of Carter on SGA and SG-1 has shown).--Ratcreature 17:11, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Huh, apparently redirect subpages are listed after all as long as they don't belong to Samantha Carter, so it still lists the obnoxious 7. I give up. :( Maybe a gardener could undo this considering that my idea didn't work, and delete the other page, so that there isn't a useless extra redirect?--Ratcreature 17:59, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
ETA: apparently editing 24 updated the subpage list there so it worked after all and this is no longer visible as subpage!--Ratcreature 18:04, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Page Rename

See Talk:"24/7". This disambiguation page was previously named "24/7" to get around the subpage issue, and 24/7 redirected to the "24/7 page. this was done to get around the subpage issue. I'm moving the pagename back to 24/7 because the issue is no longer relevant. --Auntags (talk) 19:17, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
