Sybok is a character in the Star Trek: TOS films. He is the half-brother of Spock.
Fandom
Sybok is divisive character in the fandom, some fans didn't like the idea of Spock having a long lost brother that was never mentioned in the narrative until the fifth Star Trek film, and therefore will ignore his existence. While others have come to embrace Sybok over time and have come to accept him as part of the very messy history of Spock's family.
