Meta
- I get really emotional thinking about Bruce and his relationship with Steph and the evolution of their treatment towards each other over the years especially how he was really accepting of her during her time as Batgirl which I wish we had gotten to see more of. by our-happygirl500-fan (2019)

Fan fiction
AU in which Batman never took on a third Robin. Stephanie and Bruce share their experiences with parenthood.Jason, the plaque read. Just that. Just….Jason. There were other cases in the Cave, other costumes on display, but somehow, this one felt different.Stephanie wasn’t stupid; she knew Robin’s colors well as any Gotham kid did. It was Dick’s old costume. (Stephanie knew she wasn’t even supposed to know that name; Batman had had a concussion when he’d called Nightwing by it, and they’d both been cagey with her for months afterwards.) It was the costume he’d worn before he’d grown up and become Nightwing. So why this case, with this costume, but a different name?
Steph stumbles from a concussion to a confusion: Bruce Wayne in the kitchen, manning a waffle iron.
"I have a baby. Did you know that? She's not mine anymore, but--""Don't worry, Stephanie. She'll never want for anything. I promise."

a teaser of an idea I had, basically titled: “What If Stephanie Brown Found Out She Was Bruce Wayne’s Biological Daughter and Decided To Confront Him For Blackmail To Get Money For Her Mom’s Rehab But Oops! He Decides To Become Her Dad Instead!”not a full narrative, just scenes
premise is basically Steph is 14 and Arthur is out of prison and she finds out about Bruce being her biological father and so she’s like “wait maybe I can blackmail him” which doesn’t 100% work so then she’s like “okay still gotta foil my used-to-be-dad’s plans time to be Spoiler i guess” and it’s a comedy of errors ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Steph accidentally encounters the daughter she gave up for adoption. Luckily Bruce is there to talk with about the complicated feelings it dredges up.

[...] how many times can you tell a girl who just wants someone to care about her that you don’t care about her and expect her to survive it? how many times can you do that until it kills her?
