Star Wars Celebration is a fan convention focused on the ever-expanding Star Wars universe. The event is officially sponsored by Lucasfilm, the studio with controlling interest in the franchise. The event is not held on an annual basis and instead the dates are selected to coincide with movie releases and anniversaries of past films.
