Reactions and Reviews
1994
A marvelous and quite different two - page story/ode/poem. Told in the style of an ancient myth of language that is both lilting and lyrical, it fully explains why Robin has come to be one of the treasures of our fandom. No names are mentioned. They don't have to be. It tells the story of a young "star stepper" who with his lyrette (Star Singer) searches time and space for his soul's companion. The piece is accompanied by a stunning illo by Chris Soto of a gloriously long - haired Spock striding among the stars. The typos were distracting, especially in such a short piece but they couldn't dim my enthusiasm for this very unusual poem. [1]

A lovely poetic vignette, fable/dream/myth of one seeking and finding the other.... Beautiful; a gentle, uplifting journey. Especially with Chris' ethereal Spock. [2]
