Reactions and Reviews
SPOCK'S SONG is similar to SETTLING IN in that it deals with Kirk and Spock discussng the events that have led them to the place they find themselves after the events of one of the films, though, in this case, it is after ST III:TSFS rather than ST:TMP. In Kirk's cabin for a friendly game of chess, the two friends spend time reflecting over their lives together until an accidental brushing of arms sparks fires too long denied. The love scene is somewhat graphic, though by no means ugly. Even through the passion, what remains the main focus is the unique and undying friendship between these two. The poetry in the zine is mostly unremarkable with a few exceptions. [1]
